These Conditions apply to this website and to each service that Detailed Impressions ABN 36361884329 carries out. These Conditions do not apply for which there are separate terms and conditions specific to products that are used by Detailed Impressions services.
Your acceptance of services from us means you agree to pay all fees payable to Detailed Impressions and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Any variations will only be valid if our authorized representative gives you written confirmation that the variation is accepted.
All mobile services booked with Detailed Impressions, customers agree they must provide water, hot tap water (if required), electricity, and hose at their own cost. If these items are not provided services may not be able to be completed and will incur charges as per our cancellation policy.
Detailed Impressions reserves the right to change these conditions from time to time.

- A booking is an arrangement made between the client ( You, Your, Yourself ) and Detailed Impressions (We, Us, I ) , this can be made in person, by any means of electronic media (email, SMS or phone) between said parties.
- We reserve the right to take a direct deposit or paypal details to secure the booking. Debit/Credit cards shall be processed via: Paypal.
- We reserve the right to alter or move a booking in line with staffing levels and/or weather conditions and /or machinery or equipment failure.
- Booking times may vary due to the condition of other vehicles booked earlier on the same day, and also includes traffic conditions, due to unforeseen circumstances.
- We cannot guarantee any firm times when accepting your booking. Our detailers will strive to arrive on time, but please make sure to book your service on a day/time when you can have some flexibility. The detailer will contact you in case your appointment is either brought forward or delayed for more than 15 minutes.
- Upon arrival, if the detailer finds the spot inappropriate/unsafe for the service, we reserve the right to refuse the service.
- If your vehicle is parked in an area where there is no access to power and/or water, please make sure to inform us of this condition when you make your booking.
- Prices will be discussed and only estimates over the phone or email and based on availability and will lock-in a date, time and the location as well as the particulars of the vehicle for the work to be carried out.
- All vehicles are cleaned at the customers own risk. All orders placed require address, package, and vehicle condition verification.
- Service requests are not guaranteed at time of booking and may be cancelled at anytime at the sole discretion of Detailed Impressions.
- Detailed Impressions reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
- Detailed Impressions reserves the right to alter or amend a booking time/date without penalty but wherever possible will let the customer know.
- Detailed Impressions reserves the right to alter a booking or move a booking in accordance to its staff levels, weather conditions, traffic and/or equipment failure without penalty to Detailed Impressions.
Extenuating Events: Please note that our intention is always to book your service in the quickest possible time that suits your needs, but there may be extenuating circumstances that hinder our service staff arriving at your location on time or if at all. If our service staff is late or cannot make your appointment for any unforeseen circumstance, we will endeavor to re-schedule your service to the best possible time available.
Engagement of Services: If you choose to Request a service, then you must:
- Verify the location of your vehicle before submitting;
- ensure that the Detailed Impressions services are available in your location;
- Permission to be on the premises, if you are not the owner it is your responsibility to obtain approval for our service on those grounds prior to the appointment.
- Customers should remove all personal belongings, money and other significant items from their vehicle prior to any type of cleaning or detailing service;
- Detailed Impressions will not accept or be held liable for any misplacement, loss, suspected stolen property or damage to any personal property including the vehicle being serviced, any belongings contained inside of the vehicle or to the location of service;
- If areas such as the center console, glove compartment, boot or any other compartments are not cleared of clutter or personal belongings we will not be able to clean or service these areas due to client’s private personal belongings.
- For your safety please keep a safe distance, at least 10 feet away from our work area to avoid any trip or slip hazards. If you need to speak to us while we are working on your vehicle please make sure to get our attention from a distance. We try to pay attention to our surroundings but due to the nature of our work we may not hear, see or smell unforeseen circumstances;
- Assure that your vehicle is being serviced in a lawful and safe area and if you feel otherwise please communicate your concerns with the detailer;
- please make sure to have all vehicles setup prior to arrival to ensure no downtime, if vehicle/s are being setup on arrival additional downtime surcharge may apply;
- All vehicles are cleaned at the customers own risk and must be able to withstand normal cleaning processes;
- Our detailing times are an estimate only. Each vehicle is different and may require more or less time to fulfill the detailing type;
- We reserve the right to use any one of our experienced staff to undertake your auto detailing and may need to change the detailer at short notice without penalty;
- Whilst every effort will be made to keep regular bookings to the same day and time each week, sometimes it may be necessary to make changes but we will endeavor to communicate the changes prior to arrival;
- leave your vehicle in a public location where a detailer is authorized to enter and perform the service;
- ensure that there is at least a 50cm perimeter around all sides of your vehicle/s to allow detailer to provide the service on your vehicle;
- Remove any personal and/or bulky items and/or car seats and/or open any compartments and/or seats in preparation for the service. Vehicles not prepared may not receive a thorough clean or detail if Detailed Impressions doesn't have full and unobstructed access to your vehicle.
- Due to the nature of vehicles electronics, battery, power windows/seats, computer sensors, switches, stereo, navigation, buttons, etc. being sometimes fragile and are known to malfunction, we take precautions and do not spray liquids directly on or adjacent to said components. Detailed Impressions will not be held liable to any malfunction pre, during, or post service performance.
- Due to our client’s safety we will not remove or replace car seats under any circumstances. Under the rare circumstances that require the removal of or installation of vehicle seats, Detailed Impressions is not liable for any mechanical, sensor or any other malfunctions caused to the vehicle, and will not be held responsible for any future damage as a result thereof.
- Should the car seats be left in the vehicle we will do our best to clean around the car seats but can’t promise your total satisfaction.
- Due to child safety we ask that the client removes and replaces all speciality safety seats for children prior to our arrival, however if the child seats have not been removed we will do our best to clean around the child seats but can't promise your total satisfaction. (Child seats are not cleaned or detailed unless the client specifies and would be subject to additional charges).
- understand traffic and delays from other jobs may cause slight delays to your booked time from time to time.
- Detailed Impressions reserves the right to refuse or deny customer demands above and beyond the booked service;
- Detailed Impressions will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse towards any of its staff under any circumstances and will take the relevant actions should any such behaviors be encountered;
- We reserve the right to refuse, deny or discontinue with any service if we deem the client is being unreasonable;
- Failure to adhere to your obligations in these Terms & Conditions may result in our inability to provide you with a service.
Notice of Cancellation Policy: You may cancel a scheduled detail DIRECTLY with Detailed Impressions and not the detail professional outside 24 hours of your original appointment date (not a rescheduled appointment date) without incurring any cancellation fees, penalties or charges. If the weather is bad and you need to reschedule your appointment there are no cancellation fees. If an appointment is rescheduled (rescheduling a detail does not allow for a new cancellation window as it creates a loophole) and is subject to soonest availability of the detail professional. We hold your specific appointment day and time for you and cannot schedule other customers in this window and because of this our cancellation fee is as follows:
Disclaimer of Liability, Warranties & Service Limitations: Detailed Impressions will abide by its obligations pursuant to the Australian Consumer Law, and these terms and conditions should not be taken to limit those obligations. The products used by Detailed Impressions, warranty and liability depends on the individual product manufacturer. In the interest of protecting personal belongings, areas such as boots, foot wells, consoles, glove boxes etc. will not be cleaned unless empty. The customer accepts full responsibility for any damages or loss incurred to their vehicle whatsoever. If your vehicle has pre-existing damage kindly advise Detailed Impressions in order for us to take the necessary precautions. If you fail to pay for services at time of service, you will be invoiced and be required to pay for service in full. Detailed Impressions social media pages may not be used to publish content that is illegal, defamatory, offensive or harassing in nature. Uploaded content must not violate copyright laws or solicit for customers. Every effort is made to keep all information on the website accurate and current. However, content on the site is provided for informational purposes and users are liable for any consequences resulting from its use. You indemnify members of Detailed Impressions against any liability, injury, loss or damage which may be suffered, incurred or sustained arising out of, relating to, or in any way connected with, any act or omission (including negligence) by You, your vehicle or Your breach of these terms and conditions. Detailed Impressions is not liable for any oil, grease, brake dust or any form of pollutants washed off the customer(s) vehicle(s) while detailing their vehicle that are left on the property that could or may have stained or damaged the driveway or lawn in anyways. Detailed Impressions is not liable for any physical damage done to the customer(s) property such as structural damage that may have occurred while operating a motor vehicle on the property. Detailed Impressions has sole discretion in determining the liability of any damage that the customer(s) claims to have occurred while work was performed on the vehicle such as scratches, scuffs, dents, swill marks as they may have been there prior to work commencing when the vehicle(s) was/were dirty and they could not be seen. It’s customer best interest to identify areas where prior damages are, safety and sensitive areas, such as electrical parts, computer box and special engine compartment where water should not be used before Detailed Impressions starts there work. If after the work has commenced and without the knowledge of where the hidden compartments are Detailed Impressions doesn’t take any responsibility of after effect damage. Detailed Impressions doesn’t take responsibility of the vehicle(s), which already had problems before commencing the work. It’s the customer(s) responsibility to get those problems fixed before Detailed Impressions starts work. If the pre-existing problem doesn’t get fixed and any new problem occurred while detailing could be related to pre-existing for which Detailed Impressions doesn’t take liability or responsibility. Once a service is booked through Detailed Impressions either directly in person, over the phone or online, the customer(s) understands what our services are involved and they fully accept our service. Detailed Impressions before commencing their work once again informs their customers of the services involved. As part of detailing process professional equipment will be used i.e.: High Pressure Water Machine, Buffing Machine, Air Compressor Vacuum and Shampoo Machines are used without which our jobs cannot be completed. Once Detailed Impressions have finished exterior detailing the paint work for how long the paint will shine is based on the service they have booked for. We don’t guarantee the shine will last as expected due to nature where the vehicle is parked and usage. For interior detailing; Once Interior Detailing is completed Detailed Impressions doesn’t take any responsibility for seats still wet, carpets still wet, condensation in any electrical or related areas. Windows must be left slightly open for 24 hours post detail to assist with drying and to release condensation. Interior Fabric/Carpet Stain Removal: There are no guarantees that a stain can be extracted 100% & colour fade or loss will not happen. Each stain is different because of time elapsed, dry heat conditions, moisture content, stain DNA, previous chemical used, previous extraction method, etc. However, Detailed Impressions and it’s mobile detailing staff will ask you a series of questions before providing you with a solution to the problem & endeavor to take all necessary precautions possible should the job be carried out. No liability taken by Detailed Impressions & it’s mobile detailing staff. With engine cleaning, if customer requires and accepts engine degreasing either by water from a hose or high pressure water. No liability will be taken for any problems arising from this service. Detailed Impressions and it’s mobile detailing staff will endeavour to stay away from the electrical parts of the engine whilst the degreasing is being done but should any faults occur post degreasing, Detailed Impressions & it’s mobile detailing staff will not take responsibility or any liability. Engine degreasing is done at the owners risk. Detailed Impressions has the full right to ask for vehicle key and hold it till any service is completed. Once customer(s) fully pays for service requested Detailed Impressions will return the key safely to the customer(s) personally. If no payment is made Detailed Impressions has the right to hold the vehicle(s) key till full payment is made. Detailed Impressions does not take responsibility or provide any liability for loss or damage, by fire, theft, or accident to the vehicle it’s equipment or contents whilst in possession, by our authorised employees, unless gross negligence is proven. Please ensure all personal possessions are removed from the vehicle prior to any services being undertaken. The client must remove any loose / personal contents from the interior of the vehicle including boot/cargo area ( boxes, clothing, jewellery, money, books etc ). All care will be given but no responsibility will be taken for any items left on or inside the vehicle. Anything not removed will be cleaned around.
Call Out Fee: Although we are a mobile service, meaning that we come to you. A travel and time levy may apply per booking for clients outside either a 10km radius of Penrith or our standard coverage area to cover tolls, travel time and petrol etc. depending on the service package acquired. Generally a call out fee will be waived if you are able to book 2 vehicles on the same day at one location, which is still subject to the service you may acquire per vehicle, as some services may require up to a full day just on the 1 vehicle. Inspections: Some vehicle’s may require an Inspection of the vehicle/s before any services are carried out to better understand our customers expectations and to consult with the customer what would be achievable prior to any services taking place. Inspection would incur our $50 travel fee which is non-refundable, but maybe be credited towards one of our detailing packages or paint correction packages at detailed impressions sole discretion if a reservation for our services were placed on the day of an inspection. Weekend bookings carry a 20% surcharge. Public Holiday bookings carry a 50% surcharge.
Customer agree's and understands the service may not take place on the same day of inspection. 50% holding deposit would be required to guarantee a reservation for our services, meaning an agreed booking slot to ensure that the time slot solely stays held for you and turn away other potential customers in order to ensure your own time frame. No guarantee’s of a reservation if we have not received the holding deposit.
PRICES, CHARGES, PAYMENT & CONDITION
- We require notice outside 24 hours if you wish to cancel or rearrange the day or time for which the service was contracted/requested to be eligible for a full refund of any deposits which may have been processed, avoiding our cancellation fee.
- Other arrangements can be possible on contacting us outside 24hours prior to the scheduled service.
- Notice of Cancellation must be done by phone directly with Detailed Impressions during trading hours.
- Notice of cancellations outside 24hr are eligible for a full refund (please allow 48-72 hours to process).
- A 50% cancellation fee (of the total amount charged for the service ) is applied to notice given 24 hours or less.
- Any cancellations 1 hour prior, at the time of arrival or failure to attend will be charged at the full service rate quoted for the travel and time involved with the detail professional coming to the premises. (We hold your specific appointment day and time for you and cannot schedule other customers in this window).
- If the detail professional shows up to the premises and you wish to cancel your detail appointment before the detailer commences any work, you'll be charged the full service rate quoted for the travel and time involved with the detail professional coming to the premises.
- If the detail professional commences work and you wish to cancel, you'll be charged the full amount of the service.
- Cancelled weekend bookings given 24 hours or less will incur an additional 20% cancellation fee.
- Cancelled bookings on a Public Holiday given 24 hours or less will be charged the full service rate quoted.
- If our terms and conditions are not met on our arrival we reserve the right to reschedule to service at a later time/date that works for both parties. In addition there will be a $50 rescheduling fee.

PRICES, CHARGES, PAYMENT & CONDITION
Price/Charges: Price subject to the size of vehicle. Price subject to service, condition and inspection on the day and could result in extra costs depending on the condition of the vehicle/s. In these cases we give our clients a revised quote on the day. Detailed Impressions reserves the right to charge each vehicle according to its condition, the type of vehicle and the customer location. Detailed Impressions reserves the right to amend any price during the service should it differ from the original estimate. All prices are estimates and not final (subject to change based on hours worked, products/equipment needed).
Detailed Impressions reserves the right to charge an hourly rate for any work that is not within the boundaries of the booking. If for any reason you do not accept the revised quote and/or you do not wish for us to carry out any part of a service originally quoted please refer to our cancellation policy. Our service prices do not include - removing, cleaning an refitting roof racks, headlight covers, bonnet stone guards, number plate covers, seats and child restraints (safety reasons), aluminium tray concrete/ red dust removal, engine full degrease, under body cleaning and window tinting removal etc... (client must remove & replace as required, prior to the commencement of any work to be carried out). POA: these vehicles vary in size, shape, interior & exterior fittings, job scope or requirements. Sometimes these vehicles need to be sighted and more information is needed before an estimated quote can be given or a remedial solution can be provided.
Detailed Impressions is required to be reimbursed for the cost of any third party advertisements obtained by it on the Customer's behalf.
Payment for all services must either pre-pay before commencement of service or immediately on completion of the service, (part payment or deposit maybe required in advance for some services). Payment can be made with Cash, Direct Deposit or Paypal (Master / Visa or Debit Card).

Detailed Impressions reserves the right to charge an hourly rate for any work that is not within the boundaries of the booking. If for any reason you do not accept the revised quote and/or you do not wish for us to carry out any part of a service originally quoted please refer to our cancellation policy. Our service prices do not include - removing, cleaning an refitting roof racks, headlight covers, bonnet stone guards, number plate covers, seats and child restraints (safety reasons), aluminium tray concrete/ red dust removal, engine full degrease, under body cleaning and window tinting removal etc... (client must remove & replace as required, prior to the commencement of any work to be carried out). POA: these vehicles vary in size, shape, interior & exterior fittings, job scope or requirements. Sometimes these vehicles need to be sighted and more information is needed before an estimated quote can be given or a remedial solution can be provided.

Payments made by direct deposit must pay for the service in full and deposited in our bank in sufficient time for payment to clear prior to your booking date. If payment is not received from your bank for any reason, service maybe delayed until payment has cleared, unless an alternate agreement in writing has been made directly with Detailed Impressions.
Electronic Funds Transfer via Paypal: We request that payment via paypal must be transacted in advance prior to your booking date, as we do not carry an eftpos machine (You may be requested to provide proof of transaction). Paypal transactions will incur an additional 3% service levy. We regret that Cheques WILL NOT be accepted.
Condition Of Vehicle/s: Even though our staff perform services to your vehicle/s to the highest standard, the customer acknowledges that outcomes may vary depending on the age of the vehicle, quality of the paint on vehicle, the wear & cleanliness of the inside & outside of the vehicle. You agree to pay in full the amount quoted and/or any invoice rendered by us for services rendered to you before service commences, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
If carpets, seats and panels are extremely dirty it may take longer to clean, vacuum and/or shampoo and in such cases additional charges incurred for the extra work. A lot of sand, animal hair, heavy soiling, melted lollies, hard to remove residues and stains, very dirty light coloured interiors and leather, baked on grime, a lot break dust on wheels, tar and contamination on paintwork, overspray - are examples of problems that will or may incur our extra charges. In these cases we give our clients a revised quote. If for any reason you do not accept the revised quote, and you wish to cancel our services completely please refer to our cancellation policy. No construction/ mining vehicles, no auction/flooded vehicles.

If paying by cash, paypal or direct deposit in person for the full or partial amount, you must ensure it is only paid to Detailed Impressions so a receipt can be issued.

PHOTOGRAPHS AND ADVERTISEMENTS
Where the Services include photography and placement of
the Customer’s vehicle on carsales.com, carsguide.com, gumtree.com or another sales channel the parties agree that:
- Detailed Impressions will only submit vehicle photographs, generic vehicle information and information supplied by the Customer to the advertising channel;
- the Customer will be provided with login details to the advertising channel upon completion of the advertisement by Detailed Impressions;
- it is the responsibility of the Customer to approve and check the accuracy of the information in the advertisement;
- Detailed Impressions may agree to amend and update the advertisement at the Customer’s cost.
- The Customer agrees that Detailed Impressions may use photographs taken by it for its advertising portfolio at no cost.
- Pet hair, sand and odors are the two toughest items to remove from a vehicle with a regular detail service. The removal of either element is not guaranteed with any of our services offered.
- We make no claims that we are able to remove all stains, odors from vehicle, we will do our best to our ability with the equipment/product/time we have to restore the interior to its best condition.
- We do not clean, steam or shampoo extract the roof lining due to its delicate nature of the glue that holds the headliner in place. We will only vacuum lightly to remove any light dust, pet hair or debris.
- We do not use any harsh cleaning products on the interior or exterior areas. All of our products are safe and do not chemically damage carpets, leather, vinyl, plastic, paint, clear coat, or chrome surfaces.
- We use a window tint safe window cleaner that is ammonia/alcohol/solvent free, Detailed Impressions is not liable for any window tint damage prior, during or after any service.
- We use all safe chemicals on matte, chrome, painted, aftermarket wheels/rims, brakes and callipers. Due to rust, brake dust and prior cleaning on wheels we are not liable for any damage, discoloration and flaking of wheels/rims.

- Bird droppings, bugs, sap and tar will chemically etch into your vehicles paintwork if left for a period of time. This will result in a deep chemical mark on the paintwork that may need additional work to safely remove. In some cases the mark cannot be completely removed without wet sanding or removing clear coat/paint.
- Exterior black or grey, textured or smooth trim pieces may be beyond restoring and will have to be replaced. We will try to the best of our ability to restore the plastic to its original color.
- Any wax, sealant or other coatings we offer may not last it’s intended durability if not properly cared for. Detailed Impressions reserves the right to void its warranty if we feel that the vehicle was not cared for properly.
- We respect your time and personal property and we will be polite and courteous at all times.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICE SATISFACTION GUARANTEE!
Detailed Impressions are very serious about customer satisfaction, giving our customers a Professional Service Guaranteed. We require the owner of the vehicle (or the person responsible for making payment after completion of the job), to thoroughly inspect all work carried out with the detailer, to ensure that everything has been completed and meets the customer's expectations (and hopefully more!). If you are unhappy in anyway, this needs to be addressed prior to the detailer leaving. We always attempt to rectify! Any issues that need rectifying must be addressed before the detailer leaves. After the detailer has left and issues are brought to their attention the customer will incur additional charges based on travel time and cause of problem. Failure to disclose at the time of booking any conditional issues that involves condition of vehicle/s, heavy stains, foul odors, paint correction, human or animal biological waste, mold, mildew, chemical spills, chemical overspray or any other hazardous materials voids our service satisfaction guarantee. No refunds, redos, or any additional work will be performed outside of the original service booked.
Please note that we are unable to guarantee you a new vehicle, however we always endeavor to clean or detail and perform the service required to the best of our abilities.
